Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
Guidon Legal, the trade name of Law Office of Andrew P. Gross, LLC (“Guidon Legal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates guidonlegal.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us through it, the third-party services the site uses, how that information is used and shared, and the choices and rights available to you.
The short version
- We collect personal details only when you choose to send them to us (for example, through our contact form or by phone or email), and we use them to respond to you and, if you become a client, to represent you.
- With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how our site is used and Google advertising tools to measure our ads. Nothing loads until you choose in our cookie banner.
- Under some state privacy laws, advertising cookies can count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can opt out at any time, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals.
- Contacting us through this site does not create an attorney–client relationship. Please don’t send confidential details until we have agreed to represent you.
- Questions or requests? Call 443-846-0740, or write to us at 112 Burke Avenue, Towson, MD 21286.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
We collect personal information when you choose to provide it, for example when you fill out our contact form, call or email us, or ask to receive updates from us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and the details you share about your situation or legal matter (such as military service history or information about a VA claim). Please share only what is needed for us to respond; see “Contacting Us Does Not Create an Attorney–Client Relationship” below.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, our web host and, if you allow them, the analytics and advertising services described below automatically collect technical information. This can include your IP address (which may be used to estimate your general location), browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view and for how long, the website that referred you, and how you interact with pages. Our host keeps standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.
Contacting Us Does Not Create an Attorney–Client Relationship
The information on this website is for general information only and is not legal advice. Sending us a message through this site, by email or by phone does not by itself create an attorney–client relationship, and information you send before we have agreed to represent you may not be treated as privileged or confidential. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information until we have confirmed in writing that we represent you. We treat what you send with care regardless, as described in this policy.
Third-Party Services We Use
The site uses the following services. Analytics and advertising services load only if you allow them in our cookie banner; the others are needed for the site and its forms to work. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.
Google Analytics (Google tag and Google Tag Manager)
Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, helps us understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, what device and browser they use, and how they found us. We use Google Tag Manager to manage these tags. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally.

Google Ads / DoubleClick
Google’s advertising tools (which use DoubleClick and Google Marketing Platform cookies) help us measure whether our advertising works and may be used to show our ads to people who have visited our site as they browse other websites. These cookies let Google connect your visit to our site with activity on other sites.

Lawmatics (contact form and client intake)
Our contact form is provided by Lawmatics, a client intake and relationship-management platform for law firms. What you submit through the form is stored in our Lawmatics account so we can respond to you, follow up about your inquiry, and open a file if you become a client. We may also use it to send you emails you have asked for.

Email communications
If you contact us or ask to receive updates (such as news about veterans’ disability benefits and estate planning), we use our email systems, including Microsoft 365 and our client intake platform, to send you messages. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time. We do not sell or rent our email lists.

Security and spam protection (CleanTalk and Cloudflare Turnstile)
CleanTalk checks form submissions for spam and blocks known abusive traffic. Both process technical signals such as IP address and browser details only for security.

YouTube and Google Maps (embedded content)

Website hosting and fonts
Our website is hosted by Flywheel (a WP Engine company), which processes server logs to deliver and secure the site. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so viewing our pages does not send your information to Google Fonts.

- Necessary
We do not sell personal information for money. However, under California and other state privacy laws, allowing advertising cookies such as Google Ads may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising,” because information about your browsing is disclosed to Google for advertising purposes. Those cookies are off unless you allow them. See “Your Privacy Choices” below.
Cookies and Your Choices
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The first time you visit, our cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Analytics, advertising and embedded media stay off until you choose, and you can change your choice at any time with the “Your privacy choices” link at the bottom of every page or the button below. Your choice is stored for 12 months.

You can also:
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center.
- Use the industry opt-out pages of the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the contact form, from working.
Your Privacy Choices (Do Not Sell or Share)
Depending on where you live, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we have collected about you, and get a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and professional obligations;
- opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising; and
- appeal our decision if we decline your request.
How to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising: leave “Advertising” switched off in our cookie preferences (it is off unless you turn it on), or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out, and advertising cookies stay off for that browser.
How to make a request: call us at 443-846-0740, or write to us at 112 Burke Avenue, Towson, MD 21286. We will confirm receipt and respond within 45 days (or as required by the law that applies to you). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent, who must show us your written permission. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Some information we hold, such as client files, may be subject to legal and professional-conduct duties to retain it; we will explain if a request is limited for that reason.
How We Use Information
- To respond to your questions and requests, schedule consultations and evaluate whether we can help you.
- To represent clients and communicate about their matters.
- To send updates or newsletters you have asked for.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it (if you allow analytics).
- To measure our advertising (if you allow advertising cookies).
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam and fraud, and meet our legal and professional obligations.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information only:
- with service providers that work on our behalf (such as our website host, intake and email platforms, and the services described above), under their obligations to protect it;
- with Google, if you allow analytics or advertising cookies, as described above;
- when required by law, court order or professional rules, or to protect our rights, our clients or others; and
- with your consent or at your direction.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client information for as long as our professional obligations and applicable law require. Analytics data is kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months. Your cookie choice is kept for 12 months.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through the site. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Websites
Our site links to other websites, such as the VA, our client portal, and professional rating sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their privacy policies.
Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy when our practices or the services we use change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make a significant change, we will ask for your cookie choices again.
